Aspire Medical Centre – Total Triage from 1st July
From 1st July, Aspire Medical Centre will be introducing a Total Triage system to help us deliver faster, safer, and more efficient care to all our patients.
What is Total Triage?
Total Triage means that every patient request – whether it’s for a GP appointment, medical advice, prescriptions, or administrative support – will be reviewed first. This helps ensure you get the right care at the right time.
Benefits of Total Triage
• Faster Access to the Right Care: Urgent issues are prioritised appropriately
• More Convenient Options: Many problems can be dealt with over the phone, via text, or online
• Improved Patient Safety: Clinicians can quickly identify serious or urgent concerns
• Shorter Waiting Times: Appointments are allocated based on clinical need
Use the NHS App for Easier Access
We encourage all patients to download and use the NHS App – a quick and secure way to manage your healthcare.
With the NHS App, you can:
• Submit requests directly to us
• Receive updates and messages
• Book and cancel appointments
• Order repeat prescriptions
• View your medical records and test results
Enable Notifications – Stay Informed!
To ensure you don’t miss important updates from the practice (like messages, appointment details, or test results), please turn on notifications in the NHS App:
1. Open the NHS App
2. Tap ‘More’ in the bottom right corner
3. Select ‘Settings’
4. Tap ‘Notifications’
5. Make sure notifications are switched ON
If you don’t yet have the NHS App, it’s free to download from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). You’ll need a form of ID to set it up securely.
